I’m running for IRWD Director to ensure a clean, affordable, and reliable water supply for all. As a UC Irvine professor and Irvine resident for nearly 20 years, I have the right experience to secure our water supply against threats from climate change and contamination. I've been a champion for environmental protection as a Sustainability Commissioner for the City of Irvine since 2021. As your Water Board Director, I will prioritize:

• Clean water: Maintain the highest standards for water testing to keep microplastics and PFAS “forever chemicals” out of our drinking water
• Affordability: Keep costs affordable for ratepayers while boosting incentives for water conservation and drought-tolerant landscaping
• Reliability: Invest in climate-smart programs, advanced water recycling, and infrastructure improvement
